This is an immediate start for somebody with a Maintenance Engineering or Engineering Qualification (City and Guilds), but time served within and industrial manufacturing environment is essential Key duties:Support all production departments across site with mechanical engineering supportReacting to machine breakdowns and be proactive towards preventive maintenance programs and schedules. Experienced in drive motor and gearbox repairs / rebuilds as well as hydraulic systems knowledge.Undertake routine / planned maintenance on all equipment. Attend breakdowns on all machines in a timely and safe manner. Conduct planned maintenance and keep the maintenance software up to date suggesting improvements where necessary.Deal with the day-to-day breakdown repairs and general house-keeping tasks around the facilities.Support all UK sites as and when required.Help drive continuous improvement projects.Bring fresh ideas - could we be doing this better?
