This is an immediate start for somebody with a Maintenance Engineering or Engineering Qualification (City & Guilds), but time served within and industrial manufacturing environment is essential Key duties: Support all production departments across site with mechanical engineering support Reacting to machine breakdowns & be proactive towards preventive maintenance programs and schedules. Experienced in drive motor & gearbox repairs / rebuilds as well as hydraulic systems knowledge. Undertake routine / planned maintenance on all equipment. Attend breakdowns on all machines in a timely and safe manner. Conduct planned maintenance and keep the maintenance software up to date suggesting improvements where necessary. Deal with the day-to-day breakdown repairs and general house-keeping tasks around the facilities. Support all UK sites as and when required. Help drive continuous improvement projects.
