Maintenance Engineer

Pay: £55,000.00 per year Job description: Job Title: Multi-Skilled Engineer Location: East Yorkshire Monday to Thursday days based 6am to 6pm, and some hours will occasionally be necessary on a Friday morning to be paid at an overtime rate. Due to continued development across our site, we are looking to recruit a Multi-Skilled Engineer to strengthen our engineering team. The Role We are seeking a hands-on Multi-Skilled Engineer to support and work alongside our Site Engineering Manager in maintaining and improving our production facilities. Working within a well-invested and continually developing food production environment, the successful candidate will play a key role in keeping equipment running efficiently, reducing downtime, and supporting future site improvements. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on production equipment and site machinery Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime Support the Engineering Manager with maintenance planning and site improvements Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment Work closely with production teams to maintain operational efficiency Ensure all work complies with health and safety and food safety standards Maintain clear and accurate maintenance records Candidate Requirements Previous experience as a Multi-Skilled Engineer within manufacturing, food production, or FMCG environments Strong fault finding and problem-solving ability Experience ..... full job details .....
