Maintenance Engineer

Are you a Maintenance Engineer looking for a new role? We are actively searching for a Maintenance Engineer for a food business to work 4 on 4 off days. Working in a fast paced environment, conducting routine and reactive maintenance on a range of equipment. Salary £38,000 to £42,500 plus BenefitsShift 4 on 4 off Days Only. What You Will Do:- Maintain and repair plant equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.- Conduct planned maintenance and diagnose faults to minimise downtime.- Identify opportunities to improve production processes, energy usage, and equipment efficiency.- Support the implementation of projects and upgrade works to enhance operational capabilities.- Assist with the upkeep and general maintenance of the building and site, ensuring a safe and functional environment.- Maintain site electrical systems and other services as required. What You Will Bring: - A minimum NVQ Level 2 qualification and at least two years of experience in a fast-paced environment.- Strong electrical skills, with PLC experience being a bonus.- Proven ability to quickly diagnose and resolve equipment issues.- A proactive mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.- A commitment to safety and adherence to legal and procedural guidelines.
