Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance Engineer role working for a high-volume manufacturer in Telford. You will support a wide range of maintenance tasks on a range of machines involving pneumatics, hydraulics motors and PLC s. The role offers a very competitive salary and holiday allowance with a good shift pattern and a strong team culture. Ideally you will be multi-skilled with a good understanding of electrical fault-finding and mechanical repairs. Salary up to £51 - 53KWorking Rotating days and nights 12 hoursThe Job Outline:Hands-on, multi-skilled maintenance role maintaining a wide range of automated equipment for a large well-established employer in Telford working on shift with a team of engineers.As Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer you will be: Fixing breakdowns fast (reactive maintenance) to keep production runningPreventing failures through planned and preventative maintenance (PPM)Fault-finding across systems: PLCs, robotics, pneumatics, hydraulics, electricalSupporting installs and upgradesProviding critical support for production ensuring machine availability is maintained The environment: Automated lines, robots, conveyors, process machines and press equipmentStrong focus on continuous improvement (Kaizen, 5S, lean systems)Clean and well-run manufacturing site Key experience requirements: Electrical + mechanical competenceAutomation/robotics experience advantageousPLC fault finding You will have current or recent experience as maintenance engineer, maintenance technician, ..... full job details .....
