With more than five decades of industry experience and an established customer base across the UK and overseas, this is an opportunity to join a secure business and play a key role in keeping its production facility running efficiently.As the new Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for maintaining a varied range of production and site equipment. Your duties will include diagnosing faults, completing repairs and carrying out preventative maintenance.The successful Maintenance Engineer will bring a solid mechanical engineering background together with experience of maintaining equipment within a production environment. You should be confident investigating electrical faults, with PLC experience being beneficial, and be capable of working from engineering drawings and electrical schematics. Required Maintenance Engineer Experience: Proven mechanical engineering or maintenance experience. Background within a manufacturing or industrial setting. Competent with electrical fault diagnosis and repair. Familiarity with PLC-controlled machinery would be advantageous. Able to understand engineering drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics.
