Maintenance Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join our client''s engineering team in Leicester. This is a permanent full time job. The company is a supplier of machined and fabricated components. They have a global consumer base, and sub-contract work from some of the UK''s largest companies. Maintenance Engineer key job details: Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 15:00, 37.5 hours per week 35k salary Permanent job Company has a couple of sites in Leicester, some travel between them is a part of the role Maintenance Engineer key responsibilities: Provide mechanical maintenance to a wide range of CNC and specialist machinery Mechanical repairs to gearboxes, bearings, shafts, drive chains, pumps and tanks Manage and resolve reactive breakdown repairs, reducing machine downtimes to a minimum As required carry out major refurbishment of plant, equipment and machinery PLC fault finding and interrogation Investigate reported faults, identify the cause and decide the necessary course of action to rectify the fault Planned preventative maintenance Comply with legal requirements and to work within Company health and safety guidelines Maintenance Engineer person specification: HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering Experience of fault-finding and repairing CNC multi-axis machines Conversant with Fanuc and Siemens controls Good English skills (reading, verbal, written) Computer literate You must hold a UK driving licence and have your own car Interested in this ..... full job details .....
