Maintenance EngineerMerthyr Tydfil 42''000 to 45''000 - 3 shift A well-established manufacturing business in Merthyr Tydfil is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer following significant site investment.Working on a 3-shift pattern and reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all production machinery, carrying out PPM, and responding to breakdowns to minimise downtime. Role and Responsibilities:Carry out electrical fault finding and repairs on production machineryRespond to breakdowns quickly to minimise downtimePerform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasksWork with PLC-controlled systems and industrial automation equipmentSupport installation and commissioning of new machineryDiagnose faults using electrical schematics and technical manualsEnsure all work is completed safely and in line with site proceduresMaintain accurate maintenance records and reportsWork closely with production teams to improve equipment reliability Knowledge, Skills and Experience:Time-served or qualified Electrical Engineer (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)Strong experience in a manufacturing or industrial environmentSolid understanding of fault finding on electrical systemsKnowledge of PLCs, sensors, motors, and control panelsAbility to read electrical drawings and schematicsStrong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitudeCommitment to health and safety standards Benefits Package:A starting salary between 42''000 to ..... full job details .....
