Maintenance Engineer

Salary - Circa -49,500 per annum

Location - Peterborough

Shift Pattern - 12 Hour Days and Nights Rotation, 42 Hour Average Week

We are partnering a reputable FMCG Manufacturer in Peterborough to recruit a Maintenance Engineer for the team. This will be a hands-on role, where you will be responsible for completing reactive and preventative maintenance on the site, and ensuring reliability for the site.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, optimise and repair a wide range of equipment across electrical and mechanical systems
  • PLC Troubleshooting
  • Contributing to both scheduled maintenance and immediate breakdown response
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive machine reliability and performance

Requirements:

  • A Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Electrical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering, such as (NVQ, BTEC)
  • Experience in a similar role such as (multi skilled maintenance engineer, shift engineer, shift technician, engineering technician, maintenance technician, or electrical maintenance engineer).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, hands-on approach
