We are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join a leading FMCG Manufacturer in Northampton. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced engineers to join a well-established manufacturer, operating in a high-speed, high-volume environment. These roles are essential to maintaining production performance and driving continuous improvements across the site.Maintenance EngineerLocation - NorthamptonSalary - 46,000 - 53,500Shift Pattern - PANAMA Days and NightsKey Responsibilities:Carry out fault diagnosis and repairs across electrical and mechanical systems to minimise production downtimeTake a hands-on approach in both scheduled maintenance and immediate breakdown responseMaintain, optimise, and repair a range of equipment including slicing systems, seasoning units, conveyors, and automated packaging linesParticipate in ongoing improvement initiatives to increase machine efficiency and reduce unplanned stoppagesWork closely with operations and production teams to ensure smooth running of equipment and minimal disruptionEnsure compliance with health and safety and internal maintenance procedures at all timesSkills and Experience Required:Strong hands-on experience working with both electrical and mechanical systems in a manufacturing or production settingExperience in a similar role such as (multi skilled engineer, shift engineer, shift technician, engineering technician, electrical maintenance engineer)Practical knowledge of maintaining and troubleshooting automated ..... full job details .....
