Maintenance Engineer

Henderson Brown is delighted to be partnering with an FMCG business to recruit a Multi-Skilled Engineer. This role is key to ensuring the continued performance and reliability of production equipment while supporting daily operational demands.

Maintenance Engineer

Salary - Up to -47,000

Shift Pattern - Either Sunday to Thursday/Monday to Friday (Night Shift)

Location - Lincolnshire

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the wider Engineering and Operations teams to deliver effective maintenance support across production lines.
• Carry out inspections and conduct breakdown response activities to minimise equipment downtime.
• Manage and contribute to a preventative maintenance strategy, ensuring timely servicing of machinery and minimal disruption to output.
• Identify and recommend technical improvements and safety upgrades to enhance equipment performance.
• Log and report any equipment faults or repair requirements, maintaining optimal functionality across the site.
• Organise and prioritise maintenance tasks efficiently to avoid delays and ensure smooth production flow.

Requirements:

• A recognised qualification in Engineering or related technical field.
• Experience in a similar role such as (multi skilled engineer, shift engineer, electrical maintenance engineer, engineering technician, maintenance technician)
• Practical experience in a similar engineering or maintenance role within a production or manufacturing setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a team-oriented mindset.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
