Maintenance Engineer

Your new company We are seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, fault-finding and improving a wide range of production, process and site services equipment, with a strong focus on electrical diagnostics, plant reliability and safe working practices. This is a hands-on role suited to an engineer with excellent electrical fault-finding capability, good mechanical knowledge and experience working in a regulated manufacturing or process environment.Your new role Carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance and breakdown repairs across production machinery, process plant and associated site services.Diagnose and resolve electrical faults on motors, drives, control panels, sensors, relays, contactors, instrumentation and automated equipment.Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, PandIDs and technical documentation to support effective fault-finding and repair.Work safely on electrical systems, including isolation, testing, reinstatement and verification in line with site procedures and relevant regulations.Provide mechanical support where required, including work on pumps, valves, gearboxes, conveyors, pipework, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.Support continuous process improvement by identifying recurring faults, completing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to reduce downtime.Maintain equipment reliability, availability ..... full job details .....
