Maintenance Engineer

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Location: W1U, London Pay Rate: 225/day Job Description gm recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to carry out mechanical and electrical maintenance within a commercial building environment. The successful candidate will have a strong background in both disciplines, with excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills. You will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring building services operate safely, efficiently and reliably. Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across commercial building systems.Maintain and repair electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, access control, CCTV, BMS, PAT testing and emergency lighting.Maintain mechanical plant and equipment, including AHUs, FCUs, motors, pumps, seals, chillers and plumbing systems.Complete daily plant room inspections, record BMS readings and respond to system alarms.Diagnose faults, carry out repairs and achieve first-time fixes wherever possible.Assist with minor installation works, system upgrades and improvements.Complete risk assessments and comply with permit-to-work procedures and health and safety requirements.Liaise professionally with clients and contractors, maintaining high service standards.Accurately record maintenance activities, completed works and materials used.Requirements and Skills Experience in commercial ..... full job details .....
