Respond quickly to breakdowns and minimise production downtime. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults. Maintain injection, blow moulding, extrusion machines, robots, automation and ancillary equipment. Fault-find electrical control systems and PLC-controlled equipment. Identify recurring equipment issues and implement permanent corrective actions. Support installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment. Skills & Experience for Maintenance Engineer Mechanical and electrical maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment. Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills. Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics. Electrical fault-finding capability. Understanding of PLC-controlled machinery. Ability to read engineering and electrical drawings.
