Maintenance Engineer

A leading supplier of air distribution equipment in the UK is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to do preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs to ensure their main site is continually running. The Maintenance Engineer will be able to work on a range of engineering such as mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatics. In addition, the Maintenance Engineer will have good communication, ability to maintain records, is organised and able to ensure health and safety is adhered throughout the whole site. Applications from ex-military personnel are strongly encouraged Key Responsibilities: Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and equipment optimisation Support production output and minimise downtime Diagnose and repair machine and service faults, including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and equipment documents Help and coordinate service engineers and site infrastructure improvements such as power supplies, airline systems to general site maintenance, and new installations and buildings.
