Maintenance engineer

Our client is A leading company specialising in the heat treatment of steel and non ferrous parts for the Aerospace and Engineering industries, we are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join a small team involved in servicing and maintaining a range of heat treatment furnaces and associated plant. The suitable candidate will be required to demonstrate:A strong Multi-Skilled engineering background, experienced and qualified in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.The ability to carry out preventative maintenance and servicing of plant and equipment;Possess excellent diagnostic skills to diagnose the causes and rectification of breakdowns;Salary and hours: 30K to 35K depending on experienceMonday to Friday 8am start Skills/qualifications:Ideally qualified to 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, and working within an industrial environment.General mechanical/maintenance skills; including welding, fabrication, pipe fitting, replacing bearings, transmission systems including pulleys and belts;PLC and Inverter knowledge;Good computer literacy skills;Good communication skills, liaising with client departments; Expected duties to be carried out on site:Working within the Engineering Department to carry out regular servicing and maintenance of thermal processing equipment.Respond to breakdowns to evaluate and rectify plant issues.Complete required documentation for the Engineering System.Follow predefined procedures to ensure continued safe/efficient operation of all equipment.Carry ..... full job details .....
