Maintenance Engineer (Electrical)

An established manufacturing business based in Telford is looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join its engineering team due to a forecoming retirement. The role offers a Monday to Friday working pattern, with no rotating shifts, within a clean and well-maintained manufacturing environment. THE ROLE Working as part of a small engineering team, you will be responsible for electrical and mechanical maintenance across machinery and the wider site. The role is approximately 75% electrical and 25% mechanical, with a strong focus on reactive maintenance, fault finding and keeping production equipment operational. Responsibilities will include: Electrical maintenance and fault finding on manufacturing machinery General site and facilities maintenance Mechanical maintenance and fault finding Working with Allen Bradley PLCs, including both newer and legacy systems Signing off trainee electrical work Liaising with external contractors for HVAC maintenance and repairs Responding to breakdowns and carrying out reactive maintenance Supporting the installation, transportation and set-up of equipment as the business continues to expand PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE The successful candidate will have: 18th Edition qualification Previous maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment Strong electrical fault-finding skills A practical, can-do approach to maintenance and problem solving The ability to work independently as well as ..... full job details .....
