Maintenance Engineer - Electrical Bias
The Opportunity Wolviston Management Services are pleased to be supporting our client in the recruitment of an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their established engineering team in Teesside This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on, multi-skilled engineer with a strong mechanical and/or electrical background to take responsibility for the maintenance, reliability and continuous improvement of a wide range of plant, machinery and site facilities. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will work as part of the engineering team to maximise equipment availability, minimise downtime and ensure maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. The role would suit a time-served engineer who enjoys fault finding, problem solving and working within a busy manufacturing environment. The Role As Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance across the site, diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs to mechanical and electrical equipment. Your responsibilities will include: Carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across plant, equipment and site facilities. Responding quickly and effectively to equipment breakdowns to minimise production downtime. Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults. Maintaining and repairing factory equipment, including CNC machinery. Completing day-to-day mechanical fault finding and rectification activities. Supporting ..... full job details .....
