This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced mechanical engineer to work within a critical power generation environment, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a wide range of mechanical plant and equipment. The main responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer will include. Carrying out planned, preventative and reactive mechanical maintenance across the power station. Maintaining, inspecting and repairing a wide range of mechanical plant and rotating equipment, ensuring assets remain safe, reliable and fully operational. Working on equipment including pumps, valves, compressors, fans, conveyors, gearboxes, motors and associated mechanical systems. Diagnosing mechanical faults and carrying out effective repairs to minimise equipment downtime and maintain plant availability. Completing routine inspections and identifying potential mechanical issues before they develop into major failures. Working safely in accordance with site procedures, permit-to-work systems and relevant health and safety legislation.
