Maintenance Engineer (Double Days)

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Maintenance Engineer to join our busy maintenance team on a double day shift rotation.Working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you will play a key role in ensuring the continuous, safe and reliable operation of our production equipment, including die-casting machines, furnaces, ABB robots, presses and CNC machinery. You will work closely with the Production and Maintenance teams to minimise downtime, respond effectively to breakdowns and deliver planned and preventative maintenance to improve overall plant reliability.Key Responsibilities Work as part of a proactive and supportive Maintenance team.Maintain, repair and service die-casting machines and associated production equipmentCarry out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance to minimise production downtime.Fault-find and diagnose mechanical and hydraulic issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective corrective actions.Support Production teams to ensure production targets and demands are met.Work with the Maintenance team to continually improve plant reliability, equipment performance and maintenance standards.Complete maintenance tasks and tickets accurately using the site''s CMMS system.Provide detailed and accurate shift handovers to ensure effective communication between shifts.Maintain a strong focus on health, safety and environmental standards at all times.Carry out welding, fabrication and general mechanical maintenance work as ..... full job details .....
