You know that feeling when you walk onto a site and half the machines sound like they’re on their last legs?
Yeah, that won’t be the case here.

That’s not to say you won’t have breakdowns to fix – you will. But there’s a proper maintenance schedule in place. You’ll actually get time to do preventative work rather than just running from one emergency to the next.

You’ll be part of a small team of 4 engineers (2 on shift at any given time), with an Engineering Manager who, importantly, still remembers what it’s like to do the job.

The work is varied – electrical and mechanical – but we’re looking for someone who’s strongest on the electrical side. Time-served or qualified, with experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. If you’ve worked in food, feed, or anything remotely similar, that’s a bonus.

The shift is 4 on / 4 off, all days. And yes, there’s a call-out rota – 2 out of every 4 blocks – but that comes with an extra £6k on top of your salary, plus a work phone.
