Maintenance EngineerSalary: 49,649 per annum Shift: Permanent lates, 4:00pm - 1:00am Location: Derby Start Date: ASAP Employment Type: Permanent Overtime/Shift Allowance: AvailableWe are recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established food manufacturing business in Derby.This is an excellent opportunity for a multi-skilled engineer to join an established engineering team, supporting the maintenance of production equipment and helping to minimise downtime.The RoleReporting to the Engineering Manager, you will carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a busy production environment.Key responsibilities include:Electrical and mechanical fault finding and repair.Diagnosing faults on PLCs, SCADA systems and PCBs.Reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics.Working with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.Maintaining and repairing conveyors and packaging machinery.Maintaining sealing and vacuum-packing machinery.Prioritising maintenance activities to minimise downtime.Liaising with suppliers and external service providers.Identifying and ordering replacement parts and equipment.Supporting the engineering team to maintain a safe and efficient production environment.About YouThe successful candidate will ideally have:Knowledge of BS 7671 / IET Wiring Regulations, or equivalent.Strong electrical fault-finding experience.Experience with PLCs, SCADA systems and PCBs.The ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical ..... full job details .....
