Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)
Location: Sudbury
Salary: £47,500 + Excellent Benefits
Shifts: Monday – Friday (Days)

Working within a highly skilled engineering team, you will play a key role in maintaining the reliability and efficiency of production equipment across a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The Role:

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across production and packaging machinery

• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults efficiently to minimise downtime

• Perform fault finding and troubleshooting on automated production equipment

• Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives across the site

• Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in line with health and safety standards

• Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to improve equipment performance

Requirements:

• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting ability, particularly within electrical systems

• Electrical engineering bias with experience working in manufacturing or FMCG environments

• Experience maintaining automated or production machinery

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

• Relevant engineering qualification (Electrical / Multi-skilled engineering preferred)
