Location: Newcastle Emlyn 

Salary: Up to £44,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Shifts: Days & Night Shifts

The Role of Maintenance Engineer

We are recruiting for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing environment within the dairy sector. This is a hands-on, multi-skilled role requiring both electrical and mechanical expertise.

Key responsibilities include:

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance across all processes using IFS Service and Maintenance systems

   

• Responding to breakdowns and performing reactive maintenance on plant and equipment

   

• Diagnosing faults efficiently and ensuring all repairs are completed ''Right First Time''

   

• Working safely on a range of process dairy equipment

   

• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to maximise equipment reliability and performance

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will be a multi-skilled engineer with a strong background in manufacturing or industrial environments.

Key requirements:

• Time-served apprenticeship in an industrial/manufacturing environment

   

• Multi-skilled with both electrical and mechanical competence

   

• Experience working on process or dairy equipment (desirable)

   

• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

   

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

   

• Flexible approach to working days and night shifts
