Shift Engineer Multi-Skilled Location: Gainsborough, Lincolnshire Salary: £48,395 per annum Shift Pattern: 12-hour rotating days and nights Average Working Week: 40 hours Contract: Permanent Contek Recruitment are representing their client Contek Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Shift Engineer to join the Engineering team of a well-established manufacturing operation in Gainsborough. This is an excellent opportunity for a Multi-Skilled Engineer with previous FMCG manufacturing experience to join a busy production environment, working across a range of mechanical and electrical machinery and supporting the site with both planned and reactive maintenance. The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently on shift, responding to breakdowns, carrying out preventative maintenance and using their engineering knowledge to keep production running safely and efficiently. The Role Carry out planned preventative maintenance across production machinery and site equipment. Respond quickly and effectively to mechanical and electrical breakdowns. Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to minimise production downtime. Work across both mechanical and electrical aspects of maintenance. Support continuous improvement and engineering improvement projects. Assist with fault finding and root cause analysis. Complete routine inspections, testing and maintenance activities.
