Connect Appointments is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business based in East Kilbride.Our client is a long-established business supplying specialist machinery and manufacturing solutions to the food production sector across the UK and Ireland, offering a varied role combining site-based maintenance with field-based engineering support at customer locations.What''s on offer?Full-time permanent positionWorking week of Monday to Friday 30,000 to 35,000 per annumCompany van provided34 days annual leaveCompany pension scheme and enhanced paternity payOpportunities for training and developmentAs a Maintenance Engineer, your duties will include:Carrying out routine, preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery and equipmentDiagnosing faults, troubleshooting and implementing effective repair solutionsConducting servicing, maintenance and installation of specialist machinery at customer sites across the UK, with occasional travel to IrelandProviding demonstrations and basic training to customers on equipment useMaintaining accurate maintenance records and working closely with production teams to minimise downtimeTo be considered as a Maintenance Engineer, you will need:A strong mechanical engineering background with experience in a manufacturing environmentThe ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematicsGood communication skills, particularly when dealing with customersA full UK driving licence - a ..... full job details .....
