Maintenance Engineer, £41,500, Bottesford, Leicestershire, Double Days.6am 2pm, 2pm 10pm, 8% bonus, 6% matched pension, private healthcare, 200 banked hours.The OpportunityWe are recruiting for a maintenance engineer to join a large, well-invested state-of-the-art food production facility. Performing both planned and reactive maintenance. This is a high-performing facility with state-of-the-art machinery and an experienced engineering team. You ll benefit from an excellent rota that allows weekends off and no night shifts and enjoying long-term job security.The RoleAs a maintenance engineer, you ll work with a range of food production machinery including: Packing machinery, chopping, slicersForming machines, extruders, potters and kettles etc. Your focus will be 40% reactive and 60% PPM. You ll need to be confident working with both mechanical and electrical components.The Person We re Looking ForTo succeed in this role as a maintenance engineer, you ll need: A strong background in mechanical and electrical maintenance within a manufacturing facilityExperience working on both mechanical and electrical componentsConfidence with strip-downs, rebuilds, and reactive mechanical and electrical fault diagnosisApprenticeship trained or time served engineerA proactive attitude and flexibility for overtime and development This is an ideal role for a maintenance engineer who wants to develop their career in a stable, well-backed facility with real progression and training opportunities. ..... full job details .....
