4 On / 4 Off (Days & Nights – 12 Hour Shifts)
Location – Cannock
This is an opportunity to join a large, well-established manufacturing business with multiple UK sites and a strong reputation for investing in both its facilities and its people.
The site employs around 90 people and forms part of a wider manufacturing network that continues to invest in growth and expansion. Following continued investment and increased production demand, the engineering team is expanding, creating several new opportunities for Maintenance Engineers.
The site operates a modern production facility with a variety of heavy industrial equipment and automated systems, offering Maintenance Engineers plenty of technical variety and long-term job security.
The Role – Maintenance Engineer
You''ll become part of a growing engineering team responsible for maintaining and improving a wide range of production machinery across the site.
Working alongside Team Leaders, Planners and Stores personnel, you''ll carry out both reactive and planned maintenance while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Fault finding on automated production equipment
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repairs
- Installing and replacing components on production equipment
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics
- Supporting continuous improvement projects

Salary & Benefits
- Salary – £54,000
- Bonus – 5% annual performance bonus
- OTE – £60,000+ achievable with overtime
- Shifts – 4 on / 4 off (days & nights)
- Pension – 10% employer contribution
- Overtime –
- Time and a half
- Double time on Sundays
- Excellent overtime availability
- Holidays – Equivalent of 23 shifts
What They’re Looking For
- A recognised Level 3 Engineering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, BTEC, Apprenticeship etc.)
- Strong fault-finding ability
- Experience working on three-phase equipment
- Previous manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
