      <description>Location: Arnold | Salary: 47000.00-47000.00 Annual | Type: Permanent | Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical bias), £48,000, Arnold Nottinghamshire, days 8:00am-4:30pm Mon-Fri and around 28 shift cover annually.OTE of £55,000 thanks to overtime (paid at 1.5x and 2x) and bonuses. Generous 10% pension, plus other site-specific benefits.The OpportunityWe are recruiting for a maintenance engineer to join a large, well-invested site that forms part of a nationally recognised group. This is a high-performing facility with state-of-the-art machinery and an experienced engineering team. You ll benefit from an excellent rota that allows for regular long weekends off while earning a strong base salary and enjoying long-term job security.The RoleAs a maintenance engineer, you ll work with a range of heavy-duty automated machinery including: Large mixers and slicersConveyors, silos, and hoppersKilns, hydraulics, and pneumatics systems Your focus will be 70% reactive and 30% PPM, using a tablet system for job tracking. This role places a strong emphasis on mechanical maintenance and repair. You ll need to be confident working with hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, and chains.
