Location: Frome / Bath
Salary: £42,000 to £50,000 (DOE)
Shift Pattern: Double Days, Monday to Friday

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you''ll play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of a wide range of production equipment, including Fillers, Mixers, Capping Machines, Cooling Tunnels, Robotics, Wrapping Machines, Labelling Machines, Checkweighers, Conveyors etc.
- Responding to equipment breakdowns and carrying out fault finding
- Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults
- Working on 3-phase systems, motors, sensors and control equipment as well as bearings, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, pumps, valves, belts, chains, drives etc
- Supporting continuous improvement and reliability projects
- Contributing to the safe and efficient operation of the site
The Candidate
We''re looking for a positive team player who enjoys working within a collaborative maintenance environment and is keen to develop their skills.
Essential Requirements:
- Engineering qualification at Level 3 or above (Electrical, Mechanical or Multi-Skilled)
- Previous maintenance engineering experience within an FMCG Manufacturing, Production or Industrial environment
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills with a focus on root cause analysis
- PLC experience (advantageous but not essential)
- Proactive approach with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team and as part of a team
