Maintenance Engineer

We are recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to join a busy industrial site in Nottingham.

This is a permanent, Monday to Friday day-based position carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across production and processing equipment.

The role

• Planned preventative maintenance
• Reactive breakdown response
• Mechanical and electrical fault finding
• Maintenance of conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps and drive systems
• Hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance
• Supporting installations, repairs and engineering improvements
• Occasional Saturday overtime when required

The person

We are interested in engineers with experience working within manufacturing, recycling, heavy industry, FMCG or a similar production environment.

You should have:

• Previous maintenance engineering experience
• Strong mechanical or electrical fault-finding skills
• Experience maintaining industrial machinery
• A relevant engineering qualification
• A practical, hands-on approach
• The ability to work independently and as part of an engineering team

Package

• -35,000+ basic salary
• Monday-to-Friday day shift
• Overtime paid at time and a half
• Sundays paid at double time
• Permanent position
