Maintenance Engineer and Stores ManagerLocation: Rochester, KentHours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pmSalary: Competitive + BenefitsWe are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer and Stores Manager to join a busy manufacturing operation in Rochester. This is a varied role combining hands-on maintenance engineering with responsibility for the engineering stores, ensuring production machinery is maintained effectively while engineering stock and spares are accurately managed.You will be responsible for responding to breakdowns, completing planned preventative maintenance, supporting continuous improvement and ensuring the engineering stores remain organised, well-stocked and fully up to date.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintenance EngineeringAttend machinery breakdowns and minimise production downtime.Carry out reactive and planned preventative maintenance across production machinery.Complete PPM tasks and daily maintenance checks within required timescales.Use the CMMS system to manage work orders, maintenance tasks and engineering spares.Identify and implement continuous improvements around efficiency, performance, safety, quality and waste reduction.Support the training and development of other team members where required.Ensure all maintenance work complies with hygiene, food safety, health and safety and legal requirements.Maintain tools and equipment to a safe working standard.Build strong working relationships with the Operations team.Provide engineering support to ..... full job details .....
