You will be responsible for carrying out general building maintenance, planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs to ensure buildings, facilities and surrounding areas are maintained to a safe and professional standard.This opportunity would suit someone with a strong background in in facilities maintenance with strong commercial and operational oversight, focused on delivering high service standards and excellent customer service.What We OfferCompetitive salary.Monday to Friday working hoursLong-term career prospects.Opportunity to work on a major construction project.Key DutiesCarry out routine maintenance inspections of buildings, fixtures, fittings. Including monthly water temperature testing and emergency lighting checks.Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests and urgent repair issues.Carry out minor plumbing repairs, decorating, painting and basic carpentry.Inspect internal and external areas, identifying damage, defects, leaks and potential safety hazards.Support maintenance engineers and external contractors with site repairs and general maintenance activities.Report defects requiring specialist trades, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, roofing or building contractors.RequirementsPrevious experience in a handyman, building maintenance or facilities maintenance ..... full job details .....
