We are working with a leading Property Services / Facilities Maintenance Contractor based in the Southwest who are now seeking an additional mobile Maintenance Electrician. This role is Monday to Friday 42.5 hours per week and overtime starts after 47.5 hours.

• Restore electrical faults to a safe, lasting fix on first visit wherever parts and access allow, and close every job with clear cause, action, and follow-up.
• Complete planned inspections (PPM), testing, and remedial work so statutory compliance and asset condition stay current across assigned sites.
• Respond to helpdesk and out-of-hours calls with accurate diagnosis, safe isolation, and a realistic time to restore service.
• Keep work-order records complete the same day so planners, clients, and the next engineer can act without chasing history.
• Coordinate with mechanical colleagues on shared plant so electrical and controls work does not create secondary faults.
• Reduce repeat callouts on your sites by fixing root causes, not symptoms, and flagging assets that need capital or redesign.

• Recognised electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
• Proven fault-finding on commercial building services: distribution, lighting, controls, motors, and BMS interfaces.
• Experience completing inspection, testing, and minor works documentation that would stand up to audit. (City and Guilds 2391 - 52)
• Ability to work safely alone on occupied sites, including isolation, lock-off, and permit-to-work discipline.
• Comfort using a work-order system and handheld device to receive jobs, update status, and attach evidence.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to join a planned out-of-hours rota.
