Maintenance Electrician

Position: Maintenance ElectricianLocation: Manchester (plus one site in Preston)Type: PermanentSalary: 40,000 basic plus OT and on-callWe are recruiting for a multiskilled maintenance electrician to join a new team of maintenance engineers in providing building services and plant room maintenance to key large scale estates. You will be expected to have and excellent understanding of plant room and building services engineering, compliance and have a multiskilled background.The role is a Permanent position paying circa 40k. Mon-Fri days 40 hours per week plus overtime. Overtime Standby 1 in 4 ( 130 standby payment). Van supplied Duties and ResponsibilitiesCompleting building services / electrical maintenance To undertake planned and reactive maintenance tasks on electrical systemsTo cover all maintenance of lighting, emergency systems, building services plant room electrical systems.To complete PPMs in line with SLA and KPI agreementsTo respond to Helpdesk requests, providing a professional and timely serviceWork on AHU''s, fans coils and general HVAC plant roomMechanical and fabric tasks where requiredCompliance checksSmall works projectsLead works providing guidance to resident maintenance personnel, client managers and sub-contractorsProvide guidance on compliance and scheduling of checks plus visibility of compliance records Skills and Background RequiredRecognised professional Electrical qualification, Level 3Multiskilled background, ideally to have experience on general ..... full job details .....
