Maintenance Electrician

Your new companyDue to an increase in workload as we start the new year, one of the prestigious organisations in Edinburgh is looking for an electrician to join their estates department. They oversee hundreds of commercial buildings in and around Edinburgh. They run a multi-trade department, and you will be working alongside other trades and members of the public.Your new roleAs a maintenance electrician, your duties may include:Routine inspection and testing of electrical installations around various building typesRepairing lighting, sockets, distribution boards and controlsServicing emergency lighting systems, which may include LED upgradesMaintaining generators and UPS systemsRestoring power safely in critical areas such as data centres or laboratoriesDiagnosing electrical failures or power outagesGeneral reactive maintenance small worksWhat you''ll need to succeedYou will be a qualified Electrician with a valid, in-date Gold ECS card graded to Electrician or above. Due to the mobile nature of the role, you are required to have a UK driving licence and live within a commutable distance to the depot you are assigned too.What you''ll get in returnYou will receive an immediate start at one of the most recognisable organisations in Edinburgh.
