Maintenance Electrician - Glasgow - Salary up to -41,500

CBW are looking for a qualified Domestic Electrician to join a well-established electrical contractor delivering high-quality work across Glasgow and the surrounding areas. Whether you''re carrying out upgrades, fault finding or full rewires, you''ll be part of a supportive team with a steady pipeline of long-term residential projects.

Key Responsibilities:

You''ll be working in both occupied and vacant residential properties, undertaking a wide range of electrical installation and maintenance work while ensuring every job is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.

• Full and partial rewires
• Consumer unit upgrades and replacements
• Diagnosing electrical faults and carrying out repairs
• Installing sockets, switches and lighting circuits
• Completing Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)
• Testing and inspecting electrical systems
• Producing accurate certification and job documentation
• Providing a professional service to customers at every visit

Person Specification:

You''ll be an experienced domestic electrician who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship and enjoys solving problems on site.

• Proven experience within domestic electrical installations
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability
• Confidence working independently and managing your own workload
• Good communication and customer service skills
• A full UK driving licence
• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical Installation
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• 2391 Testing & Inspection qualification (Desirable - opportunity to attain this)
• Previous experience completing EICRs and landlord certification (Desirable)
