Streetworks Permit Coordinator Location: Merseyside (Office-based) Full-time 40 hours Permanent (8am to 5pm - 1 hour lunch)About the RoleOur client is looking for a Streetworks Permit Coordinator to join their operations team. This is a key administrative position responsible for coordinating streetworks permits and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and industry requirements.You will act as a central point of contact for all office-based streetworks activities, supporting operational teams and liaising with local authorities and clients to ensure works are delivered efficiently and compliantly.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as a focal point for all office-based streetworks activities, providing support and guidance across the businessPrepare and submit permit applications, including start, stop, and registration notices (R1)Respond to highway authorities and client queries within required timescales to avoid fines and penaltiesManage permit modification requests, duration challenges, and other compliance-related communicationsRun and review daily jeopardy and compliance reports (e.g. notices due, registrations due, works in progress)Investigate and assist in responding to Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs) and overrun chargesUpdate internal systems with accurate permit and project informationLiaise with local authorities, clients, and internal teams regarding streetworks activitySupport the wider compliance team with data and reporting requirementsAssist other business areas ..... full job details .....
