We are looking for a proactive Maintenance Coordinator to join our busy Help Desk team in Basildon. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration, scheduling, or facilities coordination experience who enjoys problem-solving and delivering outstanding customer service. You will play a vital role in ensuring maintenance requests are managed efficiently, contractors are coordinated effectively, and clients receive a first-class service. The Role As a Maintenance Coordinator, you will support the day-to-day operation of our Help Desk function, acting as the key link between clients, suppliers, contractors, and internal teams. You will be responsible for managing maintenance requests, coordinating works, updating systems, and ensuring jobs are completed within agreed timescales. Key Responsibilities Managing maintenance requests received via phone, email, and customer portals. Logging and updating work orders within the CAFM system. Scheduling engineers, contractors, and maintenance appointments. Raising purchase orders and processing permits where required. Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain updates and quotations. Monitoring job progress and ensuring accurate records are maintained. ..... full job details .....
