This permanent Maintenance Controller position, based in Ipswich, supports a Felixstowe firm managing trucks and trailers for hire. Working standard weekly hours, the successful candidate handles vehicle check-in and check-out, speaks with clients by telephone, completes administrative duties, and authorises suppliers to carry out repair work. They also notify customers when servicing or MOT tests fall due. A growing company located in Felixstowe is looking for a Maintenance Controller to join its team.
They have a wide range of well-maintained trucks and trailers to satisfy their customers’ requirements.
As Maintenance Controller, your responsibilities will include:
- Checking trucks and Trailers in and out for hire
- Liaising with customers over the phone
- General administrative tasks
- Issuing authority to suppliers for maintenance work
- Advising customers of service work and MOT that are due.
We’re looking for a Maintenance Controller with:
- Experience from Rental/Hire or Maintenance industry would be an advantage
- Good communication skills
- Confidence dealing with other depots, drivers and customers
- Good IT skills
- Good organisational skills
- The ability to work alone and as part of a team
In return, you will receive a salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, plus 22 days holiday + Bank Holidays and full training.
