Maintenance Assistant

TXM Recruit are currently looking for a Maintenance Assistant to work in the Surrey area working in ultra-high-end mansions for a private property management solution company.

Hours: 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 8-4 or 9-.5, with lots of overtime available. Must work weekends on a shift rota (roughly 1 in 4 but will vary).

Salary: £37,000 (Overtime after 40 hours is at time and a half)

This role requires flexibility during their busy season (May to October) with regards to hours and days worked.

Key responsibilities:

• Undertake general property maintenance & repairs throughout our properties including carpentry, tiling and general repairs to doors, windows & locking systems.
• Installation & repairs gutters and drainpipe systems.
• General repairs of basic plumbing.
• Source materials from local suppliers and manufacturers.
• Oversee contractors.
• Provide cover for colleagues in times of absence and on – call assistance.
• Seasonal shift & on call rota.
• Adhere to all company policies & procedures, particularly to health & safety.
• Any other duties as and when required.
