Maintenance Assistant - Pensford, Bristol Location: THE PIG- near Bath, Pensford, BS39 4NS Salary: £12.90 per hour (OTE £14.10 per hour including tronc). Hours: 35 hours per week over 5 days We are currently looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join our dedicate maintenance team. As a Maintenance Assistant you will work as part of a small team, cohesively maintaining the functionality, efficiency, health and safety of the hotel. The ability to manage preventative maintenance is key, along with knowledge and understanding of fire safety. You will be required to be ''hands on'' expressing a ''can do'' attitude. Most of the responsibilities will involve basic repairs of damaged facilities, equipment, painting and decorating, at times you may be required to help the Maintenance Manager coordinate renovations and additional projects. Experience in a similar role is preferred, along with any qualifications or exposure to PAT testing, electrics, plumbing, fire safety, carpentry, plant room management, health, and safety.
