Maintenance Assistant

Repairs and Maintenance AssistantWe are looking for an organised and customer-focused individual to join our Maintenance Team. This is a short term role to support the delivery of a high-quality repairs and maintenance service for tenants. The role will last around 4 weeks and would be to start ASAP.Working closely with customers, contractors and internal colleagues, you will play a key role in coordinating repairs, monitoring performance, maintaining compliance records and supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the service.Key responsibilities include:Receiving and processing repair requests and coordinating works with contractorsProviding excellent customer service and resolving enquiries and complaints effectivelyMonitoring repair progress and contractor performance to ensure service standards are metMaintaining accurate records and updating repairs and property management systemsSupporting compliance activities including gas safety administration and statutory follow-up actionsSupporting customer satisfaction activities and continuous service improvementYou will be a proactive team player with strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
