You''ll support planned and reactive maintenance, contribute to development projects, and help ensure the University estate operates to the highest standards.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist Tradesperson - Support building, electrical, and plumbing staff with repairs and maintenance. Tasks may include filter changes, replacing lock cylinders, boiler water testing, chemical dosing, lamp replacement, unblocking pipework, tiling, plastering, and more.General Plant Maintenance - Carry out oiling, greasing, painting, belt adjustments, boiler de scaling, sump pumping, generator runs, and cleaning duties such as power washing, gutter clearing, and graffiti removal.Planned and Reactive Work - Deliver scheduled maintenance, respond to emergency breakdowns, and complete minor improvement works.Materials and Equipment Handling - Assist with moving equipment and materials across the University estate.Use of IT and CAFM Systems - Operate the Computerised Aided Facilities ..... full job details .....
