MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT

Carbon60 is looking to recruit a Maintenance Assistant to support facilities management operations at Bristol. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to gain experience within FM and compliance-based roles.

ROLE: Maintenance Assistant

PAY RATE: -13.45/per hour Paye

CONTRACT TYPE: 3 months - Temporary

LOCATION: Bristol

THE ROLE:
The Maintenance Assistant will support water hygiene and compliance tasks across the hospital site. The role involves monitoring and recording water temperatures and ensuring accurate data capture using a digital system. This is a straightforward, entry-level position requiring reliability and attention to detail.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Take and record temperatures from water outlets across site
* Carry out water hygiene-related tasks in line with compliance standards
* Use ZETA Mobile application to scan barcodes and log data accurately
* Ensure all records are completed correctly and in a timely manner
* Follow health & safety procedures at all times
* Maintain a professional and responsible approach on-site

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
* Basic understanding of health & safety practices
* Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
* Comfortable using mobile apps / digital systems
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
* Willingness to complete a DBS check

DESIRABLE:
* Previous experience in facilities management or similar role
* Basic knowledge or understanding of Legionella control
* Experience working in a healthcare or compliance-driven environment
