Required: Experience in a Maintenance Assistant role, completing similar duties to the below The role can be either site based or mobile, depending on the candidate. We re happy to consider candidates who don t drive and can reliably get to the main site to take part in a fully static role- As well as those who drive and are able to travel to other sites when required. Travel between sites will depend on the work needed and available resources. The FM Maintenance Assistant Responsibilities Complete planned and reactive maintenance across buildings, including general repairs, fixtures, fittings, utilities and external areas. Respond to damage or maintenance issues on wards, carrying out repairs or making areas safe where needed. Carry out regular site checks, including fire alarms, emergency lighting, Legionella flushing and general safety/security inspections. Manage contractor access to sites, including keys, fobs, access cards and security codes. Monitor contractors while they are on site, ensuring they follow the correct health and safety procedures and permits.
