Maintenance Assistant

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Assistant with a passion for making a difference to others.

You’ll be working full time, 40 hours per week, at Cygnet Joyce Parker Hospital, helping provide a safe and healthy environment for the people in our care.

Cygnet Joyce Parker Hospital is our emergency mental health hospital in Coventry.

The service supports adults across three wards to move as quickly and safely as possible to the most appropriate and least restrictive environment for them.

Your day-to-day Provide a comprehensive maintenance and repair service Carry out a range of tasks including basic joinery, plumbing, painting and general building work Maintain plant, services and vehicles in working order Comply with safe working practices and report faulty equipment and potential hazards Travel to other sites and on occasions be on call to carry out emergency repairs outside of normal working hours Check the fire alarm points weekly, including fire exits, door retaining devices and fire emergency lights Why Cygnet?
