Maintenance Area Manager, Reliability Maintenance Engineering

As a Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) Area Manager, you''ll bring together the elements that make our working environment as supportive and efficient as possible. Your focus will be to lead and mentor a team of expert technicians dedicated to equipment reliability.Responsibilities

Support colleagues in site compliance with safety policies and proceduresImplement EU network standards, plan preventative maintenance and ensure technical availabilityCollaborate with colleagues to collect and analyse data to improve processesDeliver and support both site-based and network-level projectsLead, support and mentor your team to develop their careerQualifications

Relevant experience as part of a maintenance team in an industrial or production environment that handles a variety of complex business processesRelevant experience in managing people in an engineering teamRelevant experience in liaising and managing relationships between a variety of stakeholders including third-party vendorsAdvanced proficiency in written and spoken English and upper intermediate proficiency in local languageExperience in Refrigeration and/or FMCG (Food)A degree in Engineering or another technical fieldA UK Higher National Diploma (HND), Higher National Certificate (HNC), BTEC National Diploma (OND), Ieng, CEng or ILM L4+Experience of working with statutory regulations such as compliance checks and machine safety protocolsExperience in automated equipment, including packaging machinery, sortation and conveyor systemsExperience of using data analysis tools and PLC-based control systemsExperience with project management or Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma processesExperience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)Note: Preferred qualifications are not required to apply for a position at Amazon.
