Mainframes Developer

The Role

Software Engineer will be part of the Engineering Team in Core Banking Platform, who will be responsible to building new software and making changes to the existing ones as per the business requirement. They will be taking utmost care and necessary steps to work on critical Category A application in the IT estate.

- Develop & Build Software programs using Unisys COBOL and DMS 1100

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Analyse any issues arising out of the running software and make necessary changes for resolution

- Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through clear and concise impacts on interfacing systems

- Work in accordance with the established Agile Ways of Working and provide input/updates in daily stand-ups and other forum as required

- Support System Test and Integration Test Cycles

Your Profile

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:-

- 6+ yrs Experience working in Unisys Mainframes

- COBOL programming

- Hierchical Database DMS 1100

- Functional Knowledge of Retail Banking

- Batch Processes and Job Scheduling

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Desirable skills/knowledge/experience: (As applicable)

- C Language

- Good communication and leadership abilities.

- Learning Attitude
