Job Title: Mainframe Datacom Engineer (Spanish Speaking Preferred) Location: remote End Date: 30-Nov-26 (will be extended) Rate: £570 - £573Role Purpose: HSBC is seeking an experienced Mainframe Datacom Engineer to support and enhance critical banking applications running within our IBM Z Mainframe environment. This role will be responsible for the administration, support, optimisation, and modernisation of Broadcom Datacom databases that underpin key business and customer services. The successful candidate will work closely with application development teams, infrastructure engineers, database administrators, and regional stakeholders to ensure the stability, security, resilience, and performance of Datacom-based solutions. Given collaboration with teams across Spain and Latin America, Spanish language skills are highly desirable.
